Retail Assistant

– Operate an electronic computer based cash register system; provide accurate change for cash paying customers
– Show customers locations of items they are in search of
– Greet customers when they walk through the door and ask if they are in need of any assistance
– Pay attention to shoppers within the store, being wary of potential shoplifting
– Restock shelves when required, ensuring optimum availability of products
– Maintain cleanliness of the store
– Availability to work on weekends and public holidays is a must

Must be well acquainted with customer service and retail work.
The ability and self-discipline to work unsupervised and intellect to show initiative when completing tasks is expected of you, or you need not apply.

This is a part time role, with hours typically being 15-20 per week, although a minimum of 7.50. You will have at least one to two days of work per week. Typically a rather fixed roster is in place, although can change from week to week. An ideal worker would have the flexibility to adapt to this.
